Peppermint Frosted Chocolate Brownies are made with a decadent homemade chocolate brownie with creamy chocolate frosting topped with crushed candy canes. A festive chocolate peppermint brownie!

- 1 cup Butter softened

- 1 2/3 cups Sugar

- 1 cup Brown Sugar

- 3 Eggs

- 2 teaspoons Vanilla

- 1 cup Flour

- 1/2 cup Cake Flour

- 1 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

- 1/2 teaspoon Salt

- 1/2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunks or Chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar for 3-4 minutes or until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add vanilla.

Stir in flour, cake flour, cocoa, and salt until mixed together.

Fold in chocolate chips.

Pour into 8 x 8 pan and spread evenly. May use 9 x 13 pan but the brownies will be thinner.

Bake for 28-36 minutes. Check the center to see if a toothpick comes out clean.
